Sacramento Water Ski Club

A private Sacramento water ski club where the members are friendly and you don’t need to maintain a boat to enjoy your favorite water sports.

Our Mission

To enable our members to enjoy the aspects and life of water sports through a private lake setting that’s more than just a place to ski or ride –  it’s a lifestyle.

Our Private Facility

Included in your membership at Bell Acqua Lake is access to additional features and amenities that other lakes can not offer. Our lake is lined with fully mature trees that provide wind protection and shade. With some of the most stable water conditions, our facility is distinctive – plus we keep a boat in the water, ready for you to ski.

A fully covered ski dock includes a member locker room facility, hot tub spa, warm up arena for the skiers and riders, refrigerator for food storage, soda machines, and an outdoor warm water shower. We also offer a built in BBQ area that is available for all members to use while at the lake. Next to the BBQ area, a park-like, professionally maintained lawn area can be used for games, and a sandy beach area is close by for children to play. The large shady park can accommodate family-style parties, and a walking/jogging trail surrounds the lake offering a 1 mile walk in a beautiful setting.

Boat Usage

Bell Acqua Lake provides the most current tournament ski boat for our members, waiting in the water, fueled and ready for you to ski.

Members show up and ski. There is no need to worry about bringing anything but your gear. We use tournament-certified Ski Nautique watercraft fitted with the most up-to-date perfect pass and zero off systems.

As a member, you may also bring your own boat to use on our private lake. Details are provided during your membership orientation.

Member Responsibilities

As a member of Bell Acqua Lake, we ask that you treat it as your own home  — this is your place to ski. Our members are what make our facility a fun and inviting place to ski. Members are briefed during their pre-membership orientation on the correct boat path, pulling a skier/rider, proper buoy set-up, and use of the jump ramp. Our on-site training mentor is there for questions and training. We want all members to have the ability to pull other members for everyone’s enjoyment. There is no need to be a specialist; everyone is always learning, and at Bell Acqua we look to our members to share and teach others as we all enjoy our love of watersports.

Bell Acqua Lake 1 hosts a variety of events throughout the year. American Water Ski Association-certified tournaments, charity events, BBQ’s, lake rentals and collegiate events are some of the activities. We encourage our members to participate in these events, and as a member of Bell Acqua Lake, you are entitled to discounted entry fees and a home field advantage. Our members are our first priority, so we do limit the number of special events to keep the lake available for member use.

Skier and Lake Use

Our lake is open year-round for members. You can ski from sun up until sun down.

Our members are encouraged to bring guests to enjoy our facility. After arriving at the lake, skiers will set themselves into the rotation for their turn. Each skier’s session is based on a 6-pass set (that means up and down the lake 6 times) before the next skier enters the water. Boats tow skiers one at a time, providing the ultimate safety and ski experience with no other boat traffic interfering with your ski ride. For beginners using the facility, we usually allow about 15 minutes per ride if other skiers are waiting on the dock. Each ski ride is logged under the appropriate member after their turn is up.
